This opening session introduces the Simpl Programme and provides a clear overview of the event’s purpose, key objectives, and anticipated outcomes for the day.

This session provides an overview of the current state of data sharing in Europe, highlighting progress across the European data ecosystem. It will cover key policies, regulations and the expectations surrounding the data strategy with a focus on what to expect in 2025, before giving a concise introduction on the Simpl Programme and how it contributes to these developments.

This session introduces Simpl and sets the scene for its impact and objectives. It will include a demo of the Simpl-Open MVP, showcasing its practical applications and how it can be used in real-world scenarios.

This session showcases the Simpl-Labs PoC and demonstrates its practical application, including how the PoC works and its potential impact.

This session presents the feasibility study results for the six selected data initiatives under Simpl-Live, covering methodologies, lessons learned, and next steps for deployment. It will explore opportunities and expectations for new data initiatives.

This workshop is divided in two sections:

  • Share the current state of business processes and recent developments with a technical focus on Simpl-Open. The session will explore key priorities for 2025, including upcoming plans and developments.
  • Breakout discussions to dive deeper into technology priorities, followed by a summary of insights. The workshop will conclude with a focus on practical arrangements for future collaboration and communication, ensuring a clear path forward for working together on technical initiatives.

This workshop is divided in two sections:

  • Share the recent achievements and foreseen future directions of the European Data Strategy, focusing on key challenges and opportunities and exploring important topics around data initiatives and their development.
  • Breakout discussions to dive deeper into the identified priorities, followed by a summary and practical next steps for future collaboration.
